Winter and Loafers
When it comes to the winter months finding the right shoes can be challenging. Obvious choices such as boots and brogues make a regular appearance but after a while can seem boring and to be honest are hard to pair with everything.Read more
We suggest mixing up the mundane winter wardrobe and adding a pair or 2 of loafers into the regime. With more styles and materials then ever before your shoe choice does not need to be the same.
The penny loafer or a tasseled loafer would be most suitable and naturally we would opt for a weather appropriate material such as leather and if you really are the style conscious then go for a brown, tan, black or navy colour as these colours hide a multitude of sins when it comes to the obvious scuffs and scraps that come with the cooler months. We advise you to protect all our loafers as this will keep the longevity to a maximum.
Should you however wish to take day to night and have the confidence to pull them off then the smoking slipper is the winning loafer for us. The smoking slipper carries sophistication and style in one and paired with velvet jacket or even a leather jacket for a style twist is a must for the dark winter nights.

All the obvious options are there, wellies for walking the dogs and ankle boots are a fail safe but what about the every day, get up and go shoe? The ones we wear for work or when we nip to the shops.
Well we have you covered. Loafers are the perfect everyday shoe at this time of year, but of course it’s important to be sensible when choosing the material and style of your loafer.
We suggest a penny loafer or tassel loafer with a hard sole and made out of leather or a patent leather for a more festive feel. Obviously the colour is up to you but the darker you go the more sins they hide and the more versatile you can be when it comes to your outfit choices.
Navy loafers are a more vibrant black and is becoming a staple colour in its own right but if you wanting to be more adventurous Burgundy loafers or Bottle Green adds a lovely festive flare to most outfits. Whatever your choose though one thing is certain and that is that you cant go wrong with a pair of loafers this winter!
